2. We Use Public Data

The book reviews you input or look up through BookRave are already publicly available on Amazon. We only fetch this public text and data to transform it into an image. We do not claim ownership of this data, nor do we store it permanently to create profiles about you.

3. What Technical Information We Collect & Why

Even though we do not track who you are, we do need to collect a small amount of technical data to keep our website running smoothly:

  • IP Addresses: When you access BookRave, our system temporarily registers your IP address. We use this purely to improve your user experience — it helps us prevent abuse, keep the website fast, and ensure the service works properly in your region.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a clear agreement between you and Hunter Group GmbH regarding your use of BookRave. By using our website and tools, you agree to these simple rules. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

1. Description of Service

BookRave is a micro-SaaS designed to help you format publicly available Amazon book reviews into custom, shareable images for social media platforms. We provide the design tool; you provide the source text from public reviews.

2. Rules of Use (What You Can and Cannot Do)

We want BookRave to remain safe and useful for everyone. When using our service, you agree to the following rules:

  • You may use the images you generate for personal or commercial promotion (such as marketing your own books or books you love on social media).
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your use of book reviews complies with Amazon's terms, guidelines, or any other platform rules.
  • You must not use our service to generate images that promote hate, violence, illegal activities, or severe misinformation.
  • You must not use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to overload, attack, or extract data from BookRave's infrastructure.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain the rights to the visual configurations and promotional images you create using BookRave, subject to the original text owner's rights and Amazon's policies.
  • Our Right to Promote BookRave: By using our service to create images, you give Hunter Group GmbH permission (a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license) to use, display, and share those generated images in our own marketing, social media, and advertising to show what BookRave can do. If you do not want your images used for our marketing, simply reach out and let us know, and we will happily respect your request.
  • Our Platform: Hunter Group GmbH owns all the code, designs, graphics, branding, and software code behind BookRave. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or steal our intellectual property.

4. No Guarantees (Provided "As-Is")

We have built BookRave with care and intend to keep it running smoothly. However, we provide the tool on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. This means we do not give any legal promises or guarantees that the service will never have interruptions, experience downtime, or that external platforms (like Amazon) won't make updates that affect how our tool pulls public reviews.
